Beyond Gaming

ASA-bot is integrated into the cluster.
Here is how to use it.

ASA-Bot is mainly a tool for administrative purposes that helps us admins be a little bit more efficient at completing various admin tasks, to include being able to assist with some tickets remotely.

One thing we achieve with help from this bot is our Custom Starter Kits. When filling out the form, you’ll see you need to input your Discord and EOS IDs. This page will help you complete this task (takes about 30 seconds).

What can I do with the bot?

Things like:

  • Find your Discord and EOS IDs

  • See which map you last logged off on

  • Manage your Tribe Logs in Discord

  • Chat between Discord and the in-game Global Chat

  • Receive admin assistance

  • Receive your Custom Starter Kit

Before you can do anything with the bot, you have to register.

Registering is simply telling the bot "This is who I am in-game, and this is who I am in Discord". Once the bot knows this, you can start using some of it's functions. It also helps us find your information quicker if we need to run a command that affects your character, like a name change, or send something directly to your inventory.

To register:

On PS5:

  • Hold down square for radial wheel

  • Select the asa-bot option.

On Xbox:

  • Hold down X for radial wheel

  • Select the asa-bot option.

On PC:

  • Hold "R" for radial wheel

  • Select the asa-bot option.

From here, the game will give you a window with a confirmation code.

Go to discord and type “ /confirm “. The bot will appear and allow you to enter that confirmation code.

From there, you're done! You registered!

Now you have access to the following tools:

  • /chat

    • Let's you send a chat from discord to in-game global chat.

  • /whereami

    • One of my favorites. Tells you which map you last logged off from.

  • /whoami

    • Tells you your Discord ID and your EOS ID.

There are additional tools available with asa-bot that I am still researching, such as decay maintenance for abandoned structures and such. I will advise if we make any further changes.

How do I request a Custom Starter Kit?

  1. Register with ASA-Bot.

    • See information right above on this page for how to register.

  2. In any channel in the Discord, type “ /whoami “

    • This will show you your Discord ID and your EOS ID numbers.

  3. Go to Starter Kits and fill out your custom starter kit request.

    • At the beginning of this form you will have to put in the Discord and EOS ID number from step 2.

    • They must be 100% accurate for the kit to be sent. (I recommend copy/pasting them to avoid errors.)

  4. Sit tight and wait for an admin or the Starter Kit Savant (SKS) to send your kit.

    • It will automatically appear in your inventory.

If you have any issues, submit a ticket in #support-and-help-tickets.

Each player is limited to two (2) starter kits total, so use them wisely. It is intended to have one on PvE and one on PvP but use them however you want.

This program is still in it's early stages and we may encounter some bugs. Please report any problems you experience to FangstaFace.

Manage Tribe Logs within your own Discord

Here is how you can use ASA-Bot to send your tribe logs to Discord.

Create a Channel

  • Create a new channel in your Discord server where you want Tribe Logs to be posted.

Edit Channel Settings

  • Right-click on the newly created channel and select "Edit Channel."

Set Up a Webhook

  • Go to the "Integrations" tab and click "Create Webhook."

Set up the new webhook, select it, and then click "Copy Webhook URL."

Configure In BG Discord

  • In general, type /tribeloglink, select the server you want, and paste the webhook link.

Please note you will have to setup a separate webhook for each server you want tribe logs for.
